_Ingredients_ :
1 cup rava
3/4 cup yoghurt
1 carrot grated
1-2 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger
1 tspoon grated coriander
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tspoon mustard
1 tspoon channa& udad dal
pinch of asofoetida
1 tspoon fruitsalt/soda bicarbonate
Water 1/4 cup / as required
Salt to taste
_Process_
Heat oil & add all the seasonings as you do for upma ( udad dal, channadal, mustard, chilly, ginger) after mustard splutters, add rava & roast lightly in the seasoning oil. Now add asofoetida (hing) & let it cool. After it is cooled, add grated carrot , salt & yoghurt. Mix it thoroughly. The dough should be like idli batter. Add water as required & make the mixture to the consistency of idli batter. Now add fruit salt/soda & mix well. Grease the idli plates & steam in idli mould for 10 -12 mins. Your colorful rava idlis are ready🥳
